Me, You, and Meme Reviews: The Three Wolf Moon Shirt PART TWO

No sweeter sight, is there? Not me, the Three Wolf Moon shirt. Although I did climb a tree and hold my phone in my feet, all to get a picture that doesn’t look like I’m in a tree, and is just somewhat blurrier than I expected. But right, the shirt. Three wolves, heads thrown back in those mournful, passionate, dedicated howls. The moon receives their call, but does it answer? And what would it say?

In the keystrokes of the wellmeme-ing reviewer, the moon may actually speak. The wolves may carry with them a complicated history of betrayal, brotherhood, and blood. And the shirt may grant powers beyond our human comprehension.

This is a storied shirt.

There are blog posts about the Three Wolf Moon shirt. There’s a KnowYourMeme.com page. A Wikipedia article. And here is just a small sample of its pop-culture wave of influence:

But nothing produced by this shirt outweighs the sheer volume of reviews. The effort is clear, the language textured, stylized, verbose. And they’re all good a quick laugh, but not much else.

I’ve written on the pitfalls of meme reviews and have specifically highlighted the Three Wolf Moon shirt already. But now it’s time to do the deed myself, to lower myself to their standards, only if for a moment. Only to show I can rise back above them, with a real review that really helps the prospective buyer.

Well. No more delaying. Feast your eyes on a new entry into the annals of Three Wolf Shirt reviews.

There you have it. Some fun and some business. This is a mullet review, or a reverse mullet, but hey, I’m not gonna hook anyone with business first, am I? No. So the Three Wolf Moon can rest easy. I’m submitted my thoughts and reviews, and I’m done with it for now.

And if I have neglected to say this at any point, either in episode or in blog, there are so many more wolf themed shirts on The Mountain. Some have moons, some have storms, one has a dragon and a wolf both howling. This is a good shirt here, but explore your options. Make an informed purchase.
